Here are some examples of projects I have worked on. One of the best parts of working freelance is the sheer variety of assignments I am able to take on, from translating court judgments, comparative law reports, children's rights materials and museum exhibitions to editing academic journal articles, reports on equality laws in European countries and European patent-related texts.
TRANSLATION PROJECT: Swedish to English translations for professionals supporting abused children
The translations were co-funded by the EU as part of the PROMISE Elpis project. You can read more on the Barnahus Network website.

EDITING PROJECT: English-language editing of European Equality Law Network reports
As an English-language editor for Human European Consultancy, I edit reports written by independent national legal experts for the European Commission, which detail implementation of EU equality and discrimination laws in individual European countries.
In this work I draw on my expertise on the subject matter, my hands-on experience of working on European projects of this nature when I worked in Brussels, my familiarity with the English legal and policy terms used by native speakers and - not least - my passion for contributing to work being done to combat discrimination of all kinds.

TRANSLATION PROJECT: Translation of the Forum for Living History's exhibition 'Like, Share, Hate' from Swedish to English
The Living History Forum is a Swedish public agency working for democracy and equality between all people, using lessons learned from the Holocaust. I translated the Forum's current exhibition on online hate and combatting antisemitism and other forms of racism, from Swedish into English. The exhibition is really well done, timely, and a great resource for schools and other groups. It is open to the public daily in Stockholm's old town (Gamla Stan).
